King of the Cage (or KOTC) is a mixed martial arts (MMA) organization based in the United States that was created in 1998 by owner Terry Trebilcock. Viewed as a minor circuit, King of the Cage features up and coming MMA stars (as well as veterans) who may eventually go on to either UFC or PRIDE. KOTC is known to host events almost exclusively at Indian gaming casinos. Over the past couple of years Terry has branched out the KOTC name to other promoters to use their for events. As a result, KOTC shows are now being held in the midwest, Canada, and Australia. Some notable KOTC competitors include UFC Champ Quinton "Rampage" Jackson, Diego Sanchez, Paul Buentello, Joe Stevenson and Rashad Evans.
