Kazuo Misaki defeated Joe Riggs in the main event of Strikeforce's return to the Playboy Mansion Saturday night, but Riggs felt the stoppage was early and that he was intelligently defending himself when referee Josh Rosenthal called a halt to the fight at 2:29 of the second round.

 "I'm really upset.  I thought it was an early stoppage," Riggs told MMAWeekly.com. "That's twice Josh Rosenthal has (expletive) me over.  Once when I was fighting Alex Stiebling.  Once now when I was fighting Misaki.

 "I thought I was winning the fight," continued the middleweight fighter.  "The first round was real slow.  He hit me with a couple of body punches.  Nothing hurt in the first round.  Then, I landed a good left hand and kicked him in the head.  I thought I won the first round."

 The pace picked up in the second stanza with each fighter dropping the other with well-placed punches. 

 "In the second round I was starting to open up. I just dropped him. I was getting off," reflected Riggs. "I was starting to find rhythm.  He caught me.  He faked a double and hit me in the temple.  When I fell, yeah, it knocked my legs out, but when I fell I covered up.  I went back into full guard.  Nothing he threw on the ground hit me.  Nothing.  Everything was off my forearms.
