What is impressive is that Fedor sunk in that rear naked on a guy that KNOWS how to defend that position well. Big John brought up the case that Randy couldn't penetrate and sink the rear naked choke. Also, Fedor landed that left hook through a high Silvia gaurd. WOW, even with hands high, Silvia couldn't avoid the onslaught. Impressive win, and erases my memory of Linland vs Fedor.

I wonder if this will shut dana white up now or if he is going to have another ridiculous comment about Fedor being overrated, I don't see how one could but we'll see what dana's spin is. FEDOR RULES!

Well holy shit!! Fedor is a madman! He lives up to the hype...I havent seen too many of his fights cause I didnt get to see him in pride when it was on..that guys the real deal!

Wow! I expected him to win but he did more than that. He assaulted and destroyed him. I'm thinking that Dana White might want to rethink his statement that Randy would destroy Fedor. Fedor is a MONSTER! Holy crap!

"UFC president Dana White has been relentless in his criticism of ex-PRIDE heavyweight champion Fedor Emelianenko over the past several years.

White has criticized and mocked the popular Russian for failing to face top competition and taking on inexperienced and even smaller fighters over the past three years.

But upon learning that Emelianenko had submitted ex-UFC heavyweight champion Tim Sylvia on Saturday in Anaheim, Calif., in less than a minute, White unflinchingly admitted he was impressed.

If I'm Randy, I might want to rethink making this fight happen. But then again, the money for both fighters would be insane. Randy has to ask himself if all that money is worth tarnishing his legacy by taking a beating from Fedor.
